We're a gatekept marketplace. Not every applicant gets approved. Read both columns before you apply.

FAQ.

Do I have to be local to Arizona?

Mamba operates in the East Valley (Mesa, Gilbert, Queen Creek, Chandler). Trainers outside the area can apply but would need to travel or offer virtual/film sessions. Bottom line: closer to the East Valley = more bookings.
How much can I actually make?
+
We don't promise a number. A trainer at $80/hr running 6 sessions/week nets ∼$1,575/month after fees. At 10 sessions: ∼$2,620/month. Mamba doesn't guarantee bookings — your rate, reliability, and reputation drive volume.
Can I keep my existing private clients?

Yes — clients you brought before applying are yours. The off-platform payment rule (T&C §5.5) only applies to families introduced through Mamba's marketplace. Your existing book of business is untouched.
Do I really need liability insurance?
+
Yes. $1M per occurrence before your first session. If you don't have a policy yet, apply anyway and we'll connect you to providers. Most run $30–50/month. Non-negotiable — we work with minors.
What if a parent cancels last minute?
+
You're protected:

24+ hrs out: Full refund to parent, no payout (no time wasted).
4–24 hrs out: 50% refund — you keep 50% as a cancellation fee.
Under 4 hrs / no-show: No refund — you keep 50%, Mamba waives commission.
Why does Mamba take 15%?
+
It covers Stripe processing (~3%), scheduling tools, insurance, background checks, marketing, and the program that brings families to you. Compare it to running your own website + marketing + payment tools — 15% replaces all of it and delivers vetted clients. Founders get 12% for year one.
Who decides if I get approved?

Coach Maceo reviews every application personally — no algorithm, no committee. He may contact your references, run a background check (at our cost), and may interview you. Approval typically takes 7 days.
